ECU

The ECU is an Electronic Control Unit which contains the hardware and software to pick up decode and act upon information gathered from various sensor fitted to the vehicle, this happens in real time.
Electronic engine management decodes inputs from other sensors and act upon them by adjusting systems such as fuel management air flow valve timing and turbo wastegate.
The ECU’s are also used for communication with  traction control systems, transmission, driver displays and many other systems.
